The only thing I can say about this is that it is 100% true! Not the story, but the meaning. If you believe what other people tell you, you will eventually turn into what they think you are. But if you believe you are something else, something spectacular, guess what? :)
I'm not saying join a circus or give up, but try to do your very best everyday and it will be worth it!
